Panchamukhee (a Sanskrit word literally meaning ‘five faced’, a metaphorical representation of multiple dimensions or facets of life) is a non-profit association that was founded in London in 2006 by a group of like minded enthusiasts. The key objective of Panchamukhee is to foster the cultural heritage of the Indian subcontinent through various socio-cultural events; such as music, cultural festivals, drama, arts and literature. We are dedicated not only to preserve and nourish our rich cultural heritage but also to inspire others towards maintaining harmony and good will within the social diversity of modern day London. To this effect, our efforts are to invite and involve participants from different ethnic communities, backgrounds, communities and abilities to participate in multi-cultural events. Engaging the youth and children with learning difficulties is a focus area of our activities. We aim to build a better future and society in association with other similarly motivated groups. |
